Sofitel Tahiti Maeva Beach Resort

This hotel offers the brilliant colors so popular in Paul Gauguin paintings. It is located on the west coast of Tahiti, on a charming beach surrounded by tropical gardens. At the time of my inspection I found this property to have great package deals. It has a nice beachfront with awesome views of Moorea.

They offer a day room from 12:00 noon to 8:00pm for around $100. This works great if you are returning from an outer island early. It offers you the chance to go to downtown Papeete for some shopping and food.  It is only 10 minutes from town.

On Sunday they have a special lunch that many locals attend with local Church groups singing! It is a great way to experience the culture of Tahitian life.

Superior Lagoon view - 1 king or 2 twin beds with view of lagoon.
Superior Suite – 1 king bed with view of lagoon.
