This resort still offers the fantastic views of Moorea from the upper floor oceanview rooms to the overwater bungalowsl They have Wifi available in all of the guest rooms along with the public areas. Connecting rooms are available and can be guaranteed. The sandy bottom pool is fresh water. Yoga is free of charge.
In its quest to transform Le Méridien hotels into creative hubs, they have started LM100. This program involves artistic individuals creating original experiences for Le Méridien guests. These talented visitors will interact with guest showing then how to perform their special art. While I was visiting, an artist from Italy was sharing his mosaic talent to a guest. They also offer cooking classes with local chef and gardening with the locals.

The rooms range from Lagoon View Rooms that are very spacious and look directly over the blue lagoon of Tahiti, They feature a terrace which is the ideal place to read or take in the sunset. Decorated in vivid colors, all have Polynesian furnishings made of natural materials with local designs. Each
room has air conditioning, direct dial phone, safe, satellite television, internet access, minibar and coffee-maker. The bathroom features a separate bathtub and walk-in shower.
There are also 12 Polynesian-style Bungalows stretch out into the lagoon. These bungalows are perched right over the water. The bungalows have a spacious deck for relaxing over the lagoon. The over-water bungalows are very spacious with a separate dressing area, air-conditioning, safe satellite television, mini-bar, tea & coffee amenities, iron and ironing board. A convertible sofa can be used for a third adult or a child.
At the time of my visit I was told that new beds would be added in the next 2 years. For American tastes, the existing bedding is too hard. Although there is a beach, the entrance is quite small as the rest of the property has a tidal wall around it.

Overwater bungalow – 1 king bed or 2 double beds and private balcony.
